Dr. Bissell practices in Bakerstown, PA, 15 miles north of Pittsburgh, providing full scope optometry and low vision services to those in western PA, eastern OH, and WV. He commits himself to providing the latest technology, knowledge, and skill to help those in need of vision rehabilitation and ocular care. He is a member of the American Optometric association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.
Dr. Bissell is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and did his residency work with a focus on the treatment of ocular disease and primary care, in addition to low vision. He has worked with and currently treats patients with Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Optic Nerve disorders, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Macular Degeneration, and more.
