Dr. Kinkade has practiced in the field of low vision rehabilitation for over 25 years. He travels extensively treating patients and often lectures on the newest options for enhancing eyesight. He has evaluated patients from as far away as Israel and Barbados.
As a founding member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, he meets several times a year to advance the field of low vision with top optical designers and manufacturers.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry Low Vision Section and a member of the Low Vision Rehabilitation Section of the American Optometric Association.
