Kansas low vision eye doctor, Dirk Gray, O.D is available to treat patients with low vision problems from his low vision center in Oberlin, Kansas. Dr. Gray grew up in western Nebraska, and in the spring of 1992, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Kearney majoring in biology. He started his optometry career at Indiana University School Of Optometry the subsequent fall.

Dirk Gray is a low vision specialist with training centered on diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration, infections and trauma of the eye, retinal disorders and specialized contact lens fitting.

Upon graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1996, he joined the McCook Eye Clinic, now known as Lifetime Eyecare and recently the satellite eye clinic, Lifetime Eyecare of Oberlin, Kansas. As a low vision eye doctor in Kansas, he enjoys the variety of work that comes with the profession of Optometry and the unique kind of patient interaction that comes with it. Dr. Gray maintains his skills as a low vision specialist by staying current with the constant technological advances in eyecare, specifically  focused on managing glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration, refractive surgery consultation, contact lens fitting, treatment of dry eyes, identifying macular degeneration symptoms, eye infections and eye trauma.

When he is not attending to his duties as a low vision doctor in Kansas, Dr. Gray loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Sandra, two sons Kade and Joel, and Gunner (the spoiled family Lab). He enjoys outdoor activities, all styles of music and sports of all types.
