Visual Acuity:

 

Minimum of  20/200 best corrected with bioptic telescope, 20/60 or better with bioptic telescope

Visual Field: 

110 degrees horizontal  80 degrees vertical;

There are certain training requirements and written verification is needed from an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Use of bioptic telescopes are permitted for obtaining a license and driving.
