Visual Acuity:

20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses.

20/70 in the better eye: restricted license (daylight only).

20/100 in the better eye, 20/40 through bioptic telescope.   Certain limitations are placed on type of telescopes.


Visual Field:

Field of vision must be 140 degrees for a person with two eyes. For monocular, 70 degrees temporally & 35 degrees nasally.


Bioptic telescopes are permitted under certain circumstances with certain limitations.
