Visual Acuity:

Unrestricted:    20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses + 120 degree field + distinguish red/green/amber colors.

Restricted:   20/70 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses + 120 degree field + distinguish red/green/amber colors. 

Bioptic:      20/40 through telescope, 20/100 through carrier, + same VF/Color requirements.   The other eye must be at least 20/100.


Bioptic telescopes are permitted under certain circumstances with certain limitations.
